Ingredients:
- ½ cup raw almonds (or walnuts, or a mix of both)
- ½ tsp olive oil or avocado oil
- ¼ tsp sea salt (or to taste)
- Optional: pinch of smoked paprika or garlic powder for flavor
Instructions:
Step 1: Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2: Coat the Nuts
In a bowl, toss almonds or walnuts with olive oil and sea salt. Add any optional seasonings if desired.
Step 3: Roast
Spread the nuts in a single layer on the baking sheet. Roast for 10–12 minutes, shaking halfway through, until lightly golden and fragrant.
Step 4: Cool & Serve
Remove from the oven and let cool completely. Store in an airtight container once cooled.
For an even lower-sodium option, reduce the salt or try a salt-free spice blend.
