Ingredients
For the Bark:
- 2 (12-oz.) bags dark chocolate chips, melted
- 1/2 cup salted pretzels, roughly chopped
- 1/4 cup dried cherries
- 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
- 1/4 cup unsalted pistachios, roughly chopped
- Flaky sea salt, for garnish
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Baking Sheet
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pour a third of the melted dark chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and use an offset spatula to spread it into an even layer, about 1/8" thick.
Step 2: Add the Toppings
- Sprinkle half of the pretzels, dried cherries, coconut flakes, and pistachios evenly over the chocolate layer.
Step 3: Add More Chocolate
- Pour the remaining melted dark chocolate over the toppings and spread it to evenly cover them.
Step 4: Add the Final Toppings
- Evenly sprinkle the remaining pretzels, cherries, coconut, and pistachios over the top. Garnish with a light sprinkle of flaky sea salt.
Step 5: Cool and Break into Pieces
- Allow the bark to cool until set, about 1 hour. Once set, break it into pieces. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to eat.
- Customizing: Feel free to swap out the dried cherries for other dried fruits like cranberries or raisins. You can also use different nuts, such as almonds or pecans.
- Storage: Keep the bark in the refrigerator to prevent it from melting and maintain its crisp texture.
